Purpose
Historic Network exists to shorten the search for trustworthy guidance and craft. Too often, period materials and skilled trades are hard to find — or they quietly go to landfill when a remodeler clears a site. This site gathers free resources first, then curated SAMPLE vendor stubs you can research and replace with your own verified contacts, plus a materials share board so salvageable fabric can find a new home.
Who operates this
The operator is renovating a 1928 Woodruff / Mills Act home and built this directory from that lived experience: city paperwork, clay tile matching, plaster that breathes, and the endless question of “who still does this work?”
